Still-Life with Flowers
by TILLOT, Charles Victor, Oil on canvas, 82 x 65 cm
Charles Tillot was a landscape and flower painter who lived on the skirts of the Barbizon woods. He was recruited by Degas to participate in the second Impressionist exhibition. However, his delicate floral still-lifes, which recall Fantin-Latour, cannot be described as Impressionist.
