The Old Town Hall (Alte Rathaus) in Leipzig, a Renaissance building with a Baroque tower, dominates the east side of the Market Square. It is considered one of the most important German secular buildings of the Renaissance.
Today it houses the Museum of City History (Stadtgeschichtliches Museum Leipzig).
